Top Robot Vacuums and Mop Combos

1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ is a fantastic robot vacuum that has many smart features that make it easier to maintain. The automatic bin emptying feature is among the most impressive features we've encountered in a robotic vacuum. It is a great choice for carpets as well as hard floors. It's also easy to install and use with the app that guides you step-by-step through the procedure. Another feature that is impressive is its ability to return to where it left off in our tests--it did this for 77 minutes in one cleaning before running out of battery.
The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums we have tested, comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on the base of its charging once it's full. This helps reduce the need for hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it still requires manually emptied after every cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.
Like the i7, this model is equipped with state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 can store multiple. The i7 is also able to utilize its map to create no-go zones as well as virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO cannot.
The i3+ EVO does a better job of picking up surface debris compared to some other robovacs we've examined, but it's not the most effective in cleaning corners and edges. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being remarkably silent. It moved chairs away from walls and made some collisions with the sides of our bed, and also was stuck to cords and toys during our testing.
2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro is an excellent choice, whether you are expanding your collection of robot vacuums or just starting out. It offers a sleek design with a powerful navigation system, as well as useful automation at a reasonable price. It's the most affordable model for the money on the market at the moment and even beats the Roborock models that are much more expensive in many ways.
This robot does a fantastic job cleaning bare floors and its avoidance technology helps it stay clear of furniture legs and other obstacles. It also performs well on carpets and scores a high score in our navigation tests. The only snag is that it's noisier than many other models we test, and it doesn't fare similarly in our user satisfaction or predicted reliability tests.
The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin of 770ml. This means you won't need to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is also very generous compared to others we've tried. When the battery is low, it automatically returns to its dock, where it recharges before resuming cleaning from where it left off. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is one of the first robots we've seen incorporate 3D mapping. This, in conjunction with other innovations, makes it perform exceptionally well in our vacuuming and mopping tests. It allows you to schedule cleaning times, set no-go zones and see the battery's condition, among other things. The app is simple to use, even though it doesn't support Apple HomeKit which is expected to be available by 2025. As of early November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to reflect that this feature will be delayed until 2025. HomeKit is not compatible with other robots, however Siri Shortcuts are.

The TP-Link Tapo R30 Plus robot vacuum cleaner is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot that can mop as well and is reasonably priced. It has a stylish design and a lot of amazing features for the price. It can be controlled using the buttons on the machine, via the app or even using voice commands. The device is powered by batteries, and the vacuum can automatically empty itself.
The TP-Link RV30 Plus is a great vacuum cleaner for standard mess. It can also be used to mop lightly on hard floors. The Eufy iMop robot vacuum and mop is among the best fully-featured machines for hard flooring. It features a high-tech mapping system that maps your home across multiple floors. The base station is well-designed and can automate cleaning to a great extent. It also provides incredible obstacle avoidance and navigation.
This model utilizes an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home and devise efficient cleaning routes. The iMop was highly rated for its navigation and coverage. It also did a great job of avoiding obstacles such as furniture. It can also find its way back to the base station if it is unable to recharge its batteries during a cleaning session.
It also comes with a spot cleaning mode that allows you to mop or clean an area of your floor. It can also be programmed to follow a certain direction. This is ideal for narrow stairs or hallways. In our carpet cleaning test, it was successful in cleaning carpets. However, it was unable to clean rugs and carpets with longer piles. It can also be set to automatically raise the mop pad whenever it comes in contact with carpet. This is a wonderful option if you wish to avoid mowing your carpets.
